Hello Sailor are looking for a seasonal cook/stew and deck/mate couple

Start date and location: ASAP, Palma de Mallorca

Itinerary: Cruising the Med with the owner over summer

Qualifications needed: The mate should hold their YM Offshore, but great candidates without this will be considered. Non EU citizens must have seaman’s discharge books.

Skills needed: The mate should have great sailing, tender driving, cleaning and basic maintenance skills. The cook/stew should be a keen cook with cleaning and organisational abilities.

Experience needed: The couple should have at least one season’s experience in similar roles. The mate should have experience standing watches. Background(s) in sailing and/or hospitality valued.

Details:

This well established sailing yacht is seeking a hard working, cheerful and versatile couple to join the captain for the summer. The ideal couple would have a little experience, be passionate about sailing, and good with children with good multitasking abilities. This is a great opportunity for a couple just starting out in yachting. Candidates already in Palma are preferred.
