Itinerary: Med/Caribbean, quite busy with owner trips and a couple of regattas per year

Qualifications needed: The captain should have minimum YM Offshore

Skills needed: The captain should be a strong sailor with good engineering and organisational skills. The chef/stew should be able to produce a range of healthy, hearty meals and have great organisational skills.

Experience needed: The captain couple should have experience running a similar size S/Y together, and crossing and racing experience.

This beautiful modern classic S/Y is looking for a captain couple to join the program in early December. There is a full-time first mate onboard, and another crew member joins for charters. The ideal crew would be energetic, hard working, both passionate sailors and a committed, harmonious romantic couple with experience working together. Brand new 27m S/Y

Start date and location: Around February 1st 2025, in the UK

Itinerary: Med/Caribbean for a couple of years, with plans to head around the world afterwards

Qualifications needed: Any culinary qualifications are valued

Skills needed: The chef should be an experienced and versatile chef with great organisational skills and an ability to cook delicious healthy food from local, seasonal ingredients. Occasional more formal meals will be requested when the owners have guests onboard. Sailing skills would be a bonus.

Experience needed: 2 years minimum working as a sailing yacht chef, with a restaurant background valued

The lovely owners are super enthusiastic about their yacht and plan to spend a lot of time onboard, with the itinerary to include off the beaten track locations, and the odd regatta. This yacht is being built to a very high spec, so the owners are looking for a hard working and enthusiastic chef to join the crew. The chef should be a versatile, experienced and passionate cook. There is a good package on offer for the right candidate. This position is open to deck/mate and chef couples. Please note the cabin will most likely be shared with the opposite gender.

Start date and location: March 2025, in Poland

Itinerary: Med/Caribbean

Qualifications needed: The captain must have YM Ocean (CE) and minimum AEC1

Skills needed: The captain should be a very strong sailor with good management and interpersonal skills. The captain must also be a strong engineer, with great electrical engineering knowledge. The chef should be a versatile and confident chef with a wide repertoire.

Experience needed: The captain should have 2 years minimum experience onboard similar sized S/Ys, with catamaran knowledge vital and new build experience valued. The chef should have dedicated yacht and/or restaurant chef experience.

Itinerary: Med, Caribbean, Pacific - an amazing remote itinerary coming up

Qualifications needed: Food Hygiene Level 2. Any further cookery / interior / sailing qualifications, as well as a B1/B2 visa, are valued

Skills needed: Must be a keen cook with laundry and cleaning knowledge. Organisational and time management skills are very important for this role

Experience needed: Minimum 2 seasons interior experience, including S/Ys, with proven longevity

Details:

This new high performance world cruising S/Y is seeking a versatile and hard working second stew/cook to join their tight knit crew and support the chief stew and chef. The second stew/cook’s time will be split between the galley and the interior, involving provisioning and meal prep assistance, crew laundry and crew mess tidying, and in general assisting in the interior where necessary. This is a fantastic yacht with an amazing program and a friendly crew, with an emphasis on longevity.

Skills needed: The mate, and ideally the chef, should have strong sailing skills. Engineering, diving and extra skills such as kitesurf instructor etc are valued

Experience needed: 2 years on yachts, including 2 seasons+ onboard S/Ys

This 27m new build S/Y is looking for a mate and chef couple to join the captain and deck/stew couple onboard, when the build reaches completion. The lovely owners are super enthusiastic about their yacht and plan to spend a lot of time onboard, with the itinerary to include off the beaten track locations, and the odd regatta. This yacht is being built to a very high spec, so the owners are looking for a hard working couple to join the crew, who are passionate about sailing and about working onboard. The chef should be a versatile, experienced and keen cook, and the mate should be a strong sailor, ideally with extra skills, who is willing to assist in the interior as well, when necessary. There is a good package on offer for the right couple.
