Skills needed: The captain should be a strong sailor with good engineering and organisational skills. The chef/stew should be able to produce a range of healthy, hearty meals and have great organisational skills.

Experience needed: The captain couple should have experience running a similar size S/Y together, and crossing and racing experience.

The lovely owners are super enthusiastic about their yacht and plan to spend a lot of time onboard, with the itinerary to include off the beaten track locations, and the odd regatta. This yacht is being built to a very high spec, so the owners are looking for a hard working and enthusiastic deckhand/mate to join the crew The mate should be a strong sailor, with extra skills such as diving and kitesurfing valued, who is willing to assist in the interior as well when necessary. This brand new 22m S/Y is looking for an experienced sailing yacht captain to join the yacht before the boat is launched in July/August 2025. The yacht will initially have a single season, Med based program, though it may head to the Caribbean in the future. It will be primarily used for cruising, with participation in the odd regatta a possibility. The owner is keen for the captain to have an input in the yacht’s winter base, so this is flexible and could suit a captain who already has a family based in the Med somewhere. There will be an opportunity to work on a part time or pro rata basis to help set up the yacht during the build.
