Hello Sailor Crew are looking for a captain

Also open to captain & cook/stew couples, with the cook/stew only employed during the summer season

22m lightly chartered S/Y

Start date and location: Early 2025, in Germany

Itinerary: Single season Med based, with the possibility of heading to the Caribbean for winter in the next few years

Qualifications needed: YM Offshore minimum

Skills needed: Must be a strong sailor with great engineering and maintenance skills

Experience needed: Must have captain experience on a similar size S/Y monohull, and plenty of offshore/passagemaking experience. New build, warranty work, commissioning and racing experience is valued

Details:

This brand new 22m S/Y is looking for an experienced sailing yacht captain to join the yacht before the boat is launched in July/August 2025. The yacht will initially have a single season, Med based program, though it may head to the Caribbean in the future. It will be primarily used for cruising, with participation in the odd regatta a possibility. The owner is keen for the captain to have an input in the yacht’s winter base, so this is flexible and could suit a captain who already has a family based in the Med somewhere. There will be an opportunity to work on a part time or pro rata basis to help set up the yacht during the build.
