Start date and location: November or early December, Antigua
Itinerary: Caribbean (inc St Barths Bucket), Greenland, eventually the Pacific
Qualifications needed: Minimum Y3
Skills needed: Must be a very strong all round engineer with good sailing skills
Experience needed: Minimum 5 years on yachts, including S/Ys. Engineering background valued.

Second Engineer (Rotational), 65m+ S/Y
Hello Sailor Crew are looking for a second engineer
Rotational - 8 weeks on, 8 weeks off
65m+ dual season S/Y
Start date and location: Early December, in the Caribbean
Itinerary: Caribbean, USA and hopefully heading to Greenland for summer 2025
Qualifications needed: Y3 or commercial III/I. Ideally the engineer would already hold a B1/B2 visa.
Skills needed: Must be a good all-round engineer with excellent problem solving skills. This is a busy yacht so the second engineer should be able to think on their feet, under the guidance of the excellent chief engineers. Sailing skills are valued but not a dealbreaker.
Experience needed: 3 years on yachts, ideally including S/Ys, and an engineering background.
Description:
This lightly chartered S/Y is looking for an experienced second engineer to join the crew of 11 in December. The second engineer will be working with the very experienced chief engineers, and should be a good all-rounder with a great work ethic, a team player attitude and some solid engineering knowledge, as well as problem solving skills, already in place. Unfortunately crew with visible tattoos cannot be considered for this role.
